This facade in Street Symmetries is one of my favourites in Calgary’s Beltline area: a stark contrast to the glass, steel, and concrete buildings ubiquitous with the downtown core. A car illegally parked proved the perfect reflective addition to this late-afternoon composition - one that subtly invites you to question what sort of city will be reflected in the future if we place such a low value on the worn-in beauty of our surroundings.
