As a young, constantly-infilled city, it often feels like Calgary doesn’t have many character spaces to hand down to the next generations. The Blue Store / Still Standing commemorates one of these spaces that is still standing in the heart of Inglewood. The older gentleman who happened to grace my photograph with his presence appears to be looking at the small ‘ice cream’ sign, or maybe he’s just looking at a familiar sight.
